help you identity the best produce deals month by month.


January

Produce have 4 to 5 digit codes; here is what you need to know about them:

  • Conventionally grown produce has a four-digit number on the sticker

  • Organic produce gets a five-digit number that begins with a number 9

  • Produce items that are genetically modified gets a five-digit number but they begin with a number 8
